my laptop needs to be replaced (and other things i'm pre-emptively planning once these exams end)

• Redye my hair
  ONE of the most important ones. I dyed it for formal (prom??), it was blue and now while the top is a pleasant mint, the rest of it is really dull and really green. Not a colour I'm into my hair being. Not sure what I'll do next, it was blonde for a while? But I could also do pink.. Decisions decisions.

• Finally upgrade my ancient ass laptop
  Not that I don't love this thing. But I've spent the last 6 years using it, and given that it's a model from 2019 that starts overclocking when I open Google... she kind of needs an upgrade. I'm eyeing the latest Surface 13", because I'm not reaaally going to do anything strenuous and my current is a Surface 3 13.5"...... Unless there's something better. I'm not sure. I've been tossing up a few other options (Spent the last few years in the Apple ecosystem thanks to our school's laptops (macs), so the Mac Neo's on there, but. Not sure it's worth it.)

• Pick up Japanese again
  I spent most of my study for Korean time watching anime in.. not Korean, ended up having some bones to pick about localisation, to the point that I figured.. ahhhhh... I might as well learn the language again. It'd be nice to be able to trust my own knowledge over someone else's works anyways. Plus, a lot of the things I'm into are lacking translators anyways!

• Draw a lot more
  I always tell myself that when I have free time, I'll draw, but it seems like the only times I want to draw are times when I can't, so let's hope I'll be able to change that. I'd also like to start taking commissions at some point, because any source of income would be thoroughly appreciated at this point

• Learn to animate (again)
  It's been a while. I used to make animatics when I was like, ~12 years old, but they weren't great and they never went anywhere. Not that I think they will now, but I'd like to at least have the ability to do it, and do it properly, if nothing else.

• Get at least ONE summer job
  I used to work 3, now I work 0. I had to quit to study, but not having money is causing me to go insane. I'm hoping a combination of nepotism + a good enough resume is enough to get me through the door.

• Get my RSA/RSG
  I think it's called the RSG anyways. I know a lot of bartenders, and there's no shortage of bars in my area, and even if that wasn't on the cards for me, I could at the very least pick up a job in a restaurant.

• Get back to the agency I was almost in!
  Modelling agency, local. A friend I know also works for them! I was offered a spot, then forbidden (Re: Studies) so I'm hoping the owner will be open-minded enough to give me a second chance. If I get that, then hopefully I can get a liiiittle bit of cash

• Sort out my passport, make enough money to travel
  Japan, Korea, Europe.. all calling my name, also all calling my wallet. I pretty much just need a job to meet this. I know a couple friends who are going travelling after exams, so I'm hoping that by next year, I'll be able to join them in that boat. I also just want to go to Japan so I can stop blowing so much cash on Mercari... curse you, Shion Kaida.

• Read more old Gyaru mags! A lifestyle I envy, but one I'm drifting closer to. To be honest, I have an emo bang and I dress in a way that any Australian teenage boy would, but my mindset and the appeal of being as flashy on the outside as everything else I say, do and own.. does call to me. Juuuust a bit. Plus, I think it'd be nice to have a little bit of change. On that note though, I don't think it would be a full-time thing. GAL is mind, and all.
